From the very beginning of my journey with this couple, I was struck by how much they work as a team. Whether it was planning their big day or simply supporting each other’s passions, they truly complement one another. Their relationship radiates respect and love, making every part of their wedding special and meaningful. The story of their friendship, especially when shared during the vows, moved me to tears. This was a wedding full of genuine emotion and deep connections.
The bride, a visionary with an eye for vintage treasures, brought her unique style into every detail. She scoured thrift stores to find the perfect dresses for her bridesmaids and even thrifted elements of decor for the wedding. For her rehearsal dinner, she chose a timeless, elegant dress—another beautiful find from her thrifting adventures. I absolutely loved photographing all of her vintage treasures on film, capturing the essence of each piece in a way that perfectly matched her nostalgic, curated style. But the most heartwarming touch was how she and her mother, a talented florist, worked together to create one-of-a-kind bouquets for each of her bridesmaids. These weren’t just flowers; they were expressions of her love and gratitude, designed to reflect how much each friend meant to her. Of course, the bride’s bouquet, crafted by her mother, was a deeply personal and special part of the day.
The groom is the life of the party, and his infectious energy lit up the wedding. His friends from Berkeley University brought so much joy to the celebration, and their bond was palpable. But beyond being a wonderful friend, he’s also someone who fits seamlessly into the bride’s family. They welcomed him with open arms, loving him as if he were already their son. Seeing that connection only deepened the beauty of the day.
As the night went on, the couple didn’t just celebrate—they danced like absolute pros, making me wish I had signed up for dance lessons! It was truly a perfect day from start to finish, filled with laughter, tears, and unforgettable moments.
