From the beginning, it was clear how much thought Brianna had put into the day. She created many of the decorations herself, and those handmade details gave everything a personal feel without taking away from the simplicity of the desert around them.
Their two dogs were part of the celebration too, dressed in flower crowns that somehow looked right at home in Joshua Tree. They made for some of my favorite portraits of the day and were a reminder that weddings are often at their best when the whole family is included.
The vintage car was another favorite detail. It fit the desert landscape beautifully, especially with the decorations Breanna had made for it. It wasn’t just a backdrop for portraits—it felt like part of the wedding’s personality.
As the sun started to set, the celebration came alive. The live band kept the dance floor full, and Brianna and Chris surprised everyone with a fast-paced, retro-inspired first dance that had everyone smiling. Later, the two of them climbed onto the trampoline together, creating some of the most fun and unexpected photos of the evening. It was one of those moments that couldn’t have been planned any better.
And at the end, one by one, all the guests followed Brianna and Chris and jumped into the pool with them, such a fun and refreshing end of the perfect day!
Looking back at this wedding, what stands out most isn’t one particular detail. It’s how naturally everything reflected Brianna and Chris. They weren’t trying to create a certain kind of wedding—they created a day that felt like their own, and Joshua Tree was the perfect place for it.
